At the end of 2018, Impact Creative approached us with an idea of using Turtle Rover as an exhibition robot during Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2019.
CES 2019 was devoted to the gamification of surveillance. A purpose-built course was provided. The objective of the game was pretty much mission and rescue. For this purpose, a Turtle Rover was used. Throughout the course, there were placed particular objects to "rescue". The rover's task was to move around the course, find those objects and identify them. The robot could be manipulated with a little handlebar.
The rover carried an AI image-recognition software to showcase SkyHawk hard drives being used for fast data storage in robotics applications.
Here, there are other integrations that can be used with Leo Rover.
CES and other events like this are a great opportunity for all technologies lovers and innovators alike. As we could see and hear in this short material, video surveillance is about to become more than simply security. It will be supplemented by AI, which is bound to revolutionize our possibilities. Together, let’s embark on a journey where a Leo Rover can propel your innovative ideas towards a future defined by boundless horizons :).
