Mecanum wheels are a type of omnidirectional wheel design that allows a robotic platform, like the Leo Rover, to move in any direction instantly without changing its orientation.

Dedicated to be used in indoor flat-ground application, where you need your Rover to be capable of:

  • Higher payload capacity (20-30kg).
  • Higher mobility - zero-radius turning based on true kinematics (non-friction).
  • Sideways "crab" movement.

The wheels can as well be used independently for your own projects.

Parameters:

  • 12V DC motor with 12 CPR magnetic encoder.
  • Motor specifications: 1 Nm, 40 RPM rated speed, planetary 3-stage gearbox with 73.1:1 ratio – see more.
  • CNC-machined hub, wheel mount and motor tube; aluminum omnidirectional wheel discs; rubber rollers; 3D-printed: rim and torque plate;2x ball bearings.
  • Sealed with rubber seals to comply with IP64 protection rate.

The wheel is provided only as an assembled version. Due to the complexity of the assembly - we're taking the process on us.
